Stein,an athletic 2019 right-handed hitting outfielder,  stands at 5-foot-8 and weighs 130 pounds, ran a 7.5 60.  Offensively- Starts with a slightly open base, front foot pigeon toed and the hands above and in front of the back shoulder. Uses a slight shift of weight while incorporating a leg kick with the front foot to get into the launch phase of the swing. Hands drop slightly, but the barrel keeps a solid 45-degree angle during the loaded phase. Had ability to drive the ball into the pull side gap. More potential here for this athletic outfielder, if he can create more momentum and energy through the ball after the launch phase of the swing. Recorded an exit velocity of 69 MPH on the day. Defensively-  Athletic fielder that showed good agility. Took efficient routes to the ball hit to the glove side and also showed an ability to get behind the ball and create momentum moving toward the target. Throws were accurate but could show more carry. Adjustments made, such as having a quicker transfer and creating longer arm action, will help improve the carry on throws and also help increase the arm velocity as well. Recorded an arm velocity of 70 MPH.
