10.22.2017
6-foot, 175-pound right-handed hitting infielder and pitcher. Coming off an arm injury, and still in the process of working back to full strength. Did not participate in the live game action but did do the workout. Offensively, showed a tee exit velocity of 82 mph. The set up is wide with his feet, the front foot gains ground as the ball approaches as well. The hands work clean and he stays on the ball throughout the swing. The frame should get physical as he projects to fill out nicely. Ran a 4.9 down the line on his dig to first base. The glove is solid, moves well to the ball and shows a clean arm. Threw 75 mph across the diamond with minimal effort.
6.28.2017
6-foot, 155-pound right-handed hitting third baseman. The glove is solid and he moves well at the hot corner. Works glove side well and can come in on the ball to make all the throws. Threw 77 mph across the diamond with ease. The frame projects as the arms are long and he has an athletic build. The arm is his best tool in my opinion, it is quick and the ball jumps out of his hand. Played a solid third base in the game. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 80 mph. Sets up spread out and a small crouch. His center of gravity bounces as he begins his swing. Staying in his legs is imperative to the swing. The swing is free and the hands work, the path needs to be shortened to contact. Goes out and around to the ball, initiating the swing in a better direction will help his game. Ran a 4.7 down the line on his dig to first.
May 2017
Long and athletic right-handed hitting corner infielder. Arm has plenty of strength to it and he moves well laterally. The foot speed is average to above average; glove is solid. The bat path is clean, with good life to the ball. The frame projects as he is long and athletic.
