Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance and feet shoulder width apart. Short simple load actions. Displayed hard consistent contact to the opposite field. Stays balanced throughout the swing. Defensively- the infielder displayed active footwork during the defensive showcase portion. Moves well laterally. Smooth funnel actions and throws from a mid 3/4 arm slot. The uncommitted senior is a must follow.

Kondo is a 5-foot-9 145 pound 2B/SS with an athletic frame. He ran a 7.33 60 and recorded a 4.40 Home to 1st time. Offensively - Sets up with an even stance with bat parallel to the ground. Very little stride and load in his approach; aggressive lower half. Was able to repeat a short quick stroke which produced line drives to all parts of the field. Swing plays much better than his exit velo; which was 78 MPH off a tee. Defensively - Good instincts and footwork to the ball; showed positive actions laterally. Infield arm strength was 78 MPH from a ¾ arm slot. Projects well up the middle and will be an above average hitter at the plate.
