Used the ground well with sink into the backside, liked to get the hands out towards the front of the plate, featured a mostly pull-side approach during batting practice peppering the LCF gap, also stayed through the middle of the field with a feel for extension in the swing. Recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 82 mph per Trackman Baseball. Defensively: The backstop demonstrated adequate receiving skills with a semi-soft glove hand at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 2.27-2.45 while standing up after receiving out of a low crouch, short straight line footwork towards the target with average transfers and an accurate, high ¾ slot. Feel for blocks on the glove hand side burying the chest downward creating recovery ability.
