Physical: 6-foot-0, 160 pounds; Broad shouldered, athletic build. Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly closed. Long arm swing while stabbing downward; high 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 88 MPH, while sitting 85-87 MPH; life through the zone. CB: 71-73 MPH; slurve like action. CH: 77-79 MPH; fading action.
6/30/21
Physical: Lean, high-waisted 6-foot, 160lb frame with athleticism present. 7.73 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Wider, upright stance as the hands operated in calm rhythm at a flat position above the shoulder. Utilized a short lift and replace stride, launching through a flat, on-time path into the hitting zone. Low-effort, top of the order type approach, spraying barrels towards the middle of the field with good bat to ball skills (40% line drive rate via Trackman). Added a T80 mph bat-exit velocity with mostly singles power at the moment and minimal swing/miss traits in game.
Defensively: The primary middle infielder repeatedly beat the ball to the spot with long, rangy steps and hard work early in the route from a lower posture. Bent at the waist, shuffling en route to the target with an accurate H ¾ release (pace evident, 78 mph arm). Then slid to the outfield with confidence in space, fielding off his left and immediately on its way in/out of the glove from an extended H ¾ slot (82 mph arm, momentum over front-side, corner OF projection).
Pitching: RHP - Started from the far left side of the rubber getting to a balanced, paused stack position at even. Worked over the front side down the slope, falling off hard to the first base side after a H ¾ release. The FB ranged from 80-81 mph with hard arm-side run and some heavy action into the zone, holding the bottom of the zone. Mixed in a short, consistent 63-65 mph CB with late horizontal tilt across the plate for strikes, strikeouts depending on count.
4/03/21
Physical: High waisted, lean 5-foot-11, 150 lb frame
Pitching: Side step with a high knee lift with the hands going up to head height, keeps the shoulders over the back side as strides out, pulls through against a firm front side following through to the left side; hand drops straight down before working up through a high 3/4 slot. FB: Has life through the zone with a Bauer unit up to 27 and advanced arm side run up to 19". CB: 10-4 shape with up to -6" vertical drop and -6" horizontal movement. CH: Good hand speed with arm side run up to 17".
7/02/19
A lean athletic frame at 5-foot-5, 108 pounds. Ran an 8.60 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- the right handed hitter stands in the box with a slightly open stance. Uses a slight leg left for balance and timing before entering the hitting zone. Showed hard consistent contact during the hitting portion. Finishes with a two hand follow through. The top exit velocity was 65 MPH. Defensively- the OF showed active footwork. Takes his time to gather himself when making throws to the plate. Smooth exchange and throw from a high ¾ arm slot. The top throwing velocity was 61 MPH. As an infielder, gets in a low wide base when fielding the baseball. Above average exchange and quick release from a mid ¾ arm slot. The top throwing velocity from the infield was 66 MPH.
