Grip strength is a measure of a players bat control and ability to transfer power and speed during impact, measured in pounds of force generated; collected with elbow bent at 90 degrees.
Physical: Proportional, athletic 6-foot, 165lb frame. 7.07 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Quiet, even stance, as the hands start calmly out over the plate with some hinge. Utilized a toe-tap stride to initiate the swing through a flat, whippy path towards a one-handed finish on the backside. Line-drive approach mostly to the pull-side of the field, landing at a T91 mph bat-exit velocity with 72 mph bat-speed. Much improved power skill set that is starting to find the gaps more consistently, as the arrow continues pointing north.
Defensively: The middle infielder got to the right of the ball to see spin and attacked with a good angle to the bag on the touch. Lower posture that maintained level, as he accelerated off the back leg for an 81 mph arm-strength from H ¾. Soft, accurate hands worked low to high and funneled anything within range.
Physical: Highly athletic, long 6-foot, 150lb frame. 7.09 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, slightly open stance as the hands operated in rhythm out in front of the chest. Utilized a deeper toe tap stride to land even, initiating the swing through a higher-postured, flat path into the hitting zone. Generated good extension to the pull-side of the field, wrapping a couple barrels just inside of the LF foul line for extra-bases. Recorded a T86 mph bat-exit velocity with ability to jump on fastballs in-game; posted a 42% line drive rate (via Trackman) and hit behind the ball with some early connection. Pulled across his body at times with more power to be had in the near future.
Defensively: The primary shortstop set up early with the glove hand presented out in front of the toes. Bent at the waist from a moderate posture and shuffled with intent twice before releasing from a hitchy, H ¾ slot (length, 75 mph arm).
Pitching: RHP - Set up off the glove side of the rubber; got to a balanced stack with controlled pace, using a drop/drive move down the slope into footstrike with solid stride length. High ¾ slot and landed FB to the arm-side of the plate from 76-78 mph. Spun an 11/5 shaped 64-67 mph CB for strikes to the bottom of the zone, adding a developing 65-67 mph CH (short fade, varied command).
Physical: 6-foot-0, 145 pounds; Lean, athletic build. 7.12 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Extended take back of the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a finish around the back. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 85 MPH via Trackman. Found the barrel routinely and drove the ball to pullside gap and down the line with strength.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep step while active feet. Hands work through the ball while staying low during transfer. Moderate arm circle from a while using various arm slots. INF - 71 MPH.
Pitching: Albright uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while effortless with fluidity; working through a standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 77 MPH, while sitting 72-75 MPH; straight action. SL: 60-61 MPH; tilting break.
Physical: Lean, high-waisted 6-foot, 150lb frame with both athleticism and projectability flashing. 7.22 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, slightly open stance as the hands showed high to start with some rhythm. Utilized a quick toe tap stride, getting out to a shoulder-width position for launch, initiating through a flat path into the hitting zone. Hit into a stiff/adjustable front side with rotational moves found in the swing; posted an 85 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman and added a 46% line drive rate pointing towards solid bat to ball skills during batting practice. Stayed on a pull-side approach with his best results coming when pitched out over the middle of the plate. Long levers that liked to get leveraged and will continue seeing measurables increase as he adds strength over the next couple of years.
Defensively: The primary shortstop moved athletically in either direction showcasing a feel for the game and ability to find advantage positions with good footwork. Took consistent routes to his glove hand side and featured a quick release from a lower ¾ slot to medium ¾ (T74 mph arm). Pace played and carried over to rhythmic transfers during the “plays on the run.”
Physical: 6-foot, 145LBS. 7.49 60-Yard Dash. Offensively: RHH. Starts in a neutral stance with feet slightly wider than shoulder width. Hands start out in front and at shoulder height. Lower half load is quick as weight rocks on the rear leg and the front side goes through a toe tap for timing. Flat barrel path through the hitting zone with a one handed finish. Defensively: Primary SS. Moves on the balls of feet and attacks the ground ball. Funnels ball to belt line for the exchange. On glove break the arm goes through the arm swing and maintains some bend in the elbow.Pitching: Sets up squared to the plate and on the 1B side of the rubber. Goes through a rocker step that works through a leg lift to chest height. Lead leg goes down and out as he works down the mound. Glove side is loose during the followthrough.
Physical: Lean and projectable 5-foot-11, 140-pound frame that oozes athleticism throughout. 7.36 runner in the 60-yard dash. Offensively: RHH. Tall, open stance with the hands starting at the shoulder in the setup. Utilized a leg lift stride with sink into the lower half allowing the hands to match plane early and often and long levers to work through towards extension while entering the hitting zone through a flat path. The hips cleared early with a medium posture throughout the swing, hit into a stiff front side and liked to get the bat head to the front of the plate at impact. Showed off a pull-side approach with line drives / ground balls during the round and recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 85 mph per Trackman Baseball. Defensively: The primary shortstop featured long and fluid footwork with control of his body and ability to make plays on the run. Could range to the glove hand side with a soft glove hand playing out in front coupled with good, active momentum through the fielding window. Repeatable transfers and an accurate, ¾ slot across the diamond. INF - 69 mph Pitching: RHP - Starts tall from the middle of the rubber, side rocker step with moderate pace in the delivery, medium leg lift at the stack and gets compact and through the lower half on the backside leg drive towards the plate, the arm came through a high ¾ slot allowing for FB ranging from 71-73 mph, mixed in a 59-61 mph CB with 11/5 shape, and countered with a 61-62 mph straight CH.
Physical: Lean, athletic frame. 7.43 runner in the 60; 4.49 home-to-1B.
Offensively: RHH. Tall, relaxed stance with feet just wider than shoulder width apart, some movement in the hands before using a small leg kick for timing Very quick, short barrel path to the baseball, flat barrel path that works uphill on finish. Up the middle and pull-side gap approach. 76 MPH raw exit velocity.
Defensively: Uses a small hop for timing, aggressive approach, fields the ball just inside his arm foot and gets rid of the ball quickly. Short arm swing with a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 61 MPH.
Pitching: Starts with rocker step and leg lift to the belt, sinks into back leg as strides out, keeps shoulders in line to an easy effort, repeatable release and balanced follow through. Moderate arm swing with 3/4 release. FB: T69, 66-68 MPH. Has life out of the hand with arm side run. CB: 54-57 MPH. Good feel for it with 11-5 shape.
A lean athletic frame a 5-foot-8, 125 pounds. Ran 7.63 in the 60 yard dash. Offensively- the right-handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance. Displayed simple load actions with loose hands. Throws the hands into the hitting zone. Flat bat path. Showed hard consistent contact to the pull side and middle part of the field. Stays balanced and finishes in an upright position. Top exit velocity 70 MPH. Defensively-as an infielder, aggressive approach to the baseball. Above average funnel actions. Throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Top throwing velocity across the infield was 70 MPH. The 2025 graduate has an upside and will be one to follow as he continues to develop.
