Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-8, 150lb frame with room to add. 7.32 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH - Wider, crouched position with the barrel bouncing off the shoulder in controlled rhythm. Utilized a direct lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat, whippy path into the hitting zone. Blocked the front side off properly as the finish worked to a high, one-handed spot behind the head. Recorded a mostly lofty approach during his round, producing backspin through the middle of the field (64% fly ball rate via Trackman, singles power). Notched a T83 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak with natural bat to ball skills available and possible future top of the order abilities.
Defensively: The middle infielder set up at a lower postured, wide base as the glove hand presented on-time out in front. Fielded softly in the center of the body, using quick hands and a clean exchange to get rid from a ¾ slot (solid pace, 77 mph arm). Made plays accurately on the run with adequate route awareness.
Pitching: RHP - Slightly offset start from the left side of the rubber, utilizing slower pace in the delivery. Got to a balanced stack at even, showing hip coil before exploding into footstrike towards the mitt. Held direction well and landed the FB from 74-75 mph (strikes, 1725rpms). Mixed a two-plane 61-64 mph breaker at an 11/5 tilt, grabbing up to 10 inches of sweep at its peak. Could command a 68-70 mph CH with good extension and consistent arm-side fade.
