8.19.18

6-foot,145-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 4.29 down the line on his dig to first base. The glove is solid in the infield, more of a second baseman. The feet work to and through the ball. Threw 71 mph across the diamond, showed the ability to handle the pivot as well. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 81 mph, as physical strength gains are warranted. The setup is even in base, pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The front foot gains ground to the ball as it gets to the hitting zone. The path is flat to contact, low finish after contact with the ball.

Campus Series - St. Rose (July 10, 2018)
5-foot-8, 145-pounds. Lean frame with wide shoulders. Offensively - Narrow, slightly-open set up. Forward stride squares him up to the pitcher. Subtle load with the hands as he creates separation. Hands work to the inside of the ball and create a level swing path. Hips rotate completely into a firm front side. Line-drive swing with 2-handed finish. Exit Velocity was 76 MPH. Defensively - Fundamental actions at SS. Active feet with quick hands transitioning into the throw. Stays low with wide, athletic base. Gets ball out in front. Quick, loose arm action that translates to the infield. Arm strength was 73 MPH. Adding additional strength to frame could make big difference in measurables.
