Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Physical: 6-foot-3, 165 pounds; long levered, lanky frame. 7.07 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Upright stance, fairly narrow feet with a 45 degree angle in his bat. Relaxed demeanor at the dish; uses a slight hover with his front foot to gain momentum into the pitch. Aggressive movements through the lower half, explodes through his back hip with uphill path with tight hands against his body, turns the barrel well using a strong top hand. Displayed the ability to barrel the ball, frequently sending hard hit balls into the air to the left side of the field; peak Trackman exit velocity of 88 MPH. Defensively: Upright stance with narrow feet and weight shifted on his toes; takes laid back steps to the ball, collects his feet before making the throw. Soft hands with an easy transfer to throw; throws from an over the top slot with some looseness in the arm action. OF - 83 MPH. Pitching: Easy, repeatable delivery with a tall and fall approach down the mound. Over the top action with good arm speed when he gets to foot strike. FB: T 81 MPH, 80-81 MPH. FB appears to have some late sink to it induced by his over the top slot and early pronation on the ball. CB: 65-66 MPH. CB has good depth as it approaches the plate, some glove side break on top of the downhill break. Throws a frisbee slider with an abundance of glove side break. CH: 73-74 MPH. CH has tremendous AS sink with quality pitchability.

Physical: 6-foot-3, 165 pounds; long, wiry frame that could be added to . 7.11 runner in the 60. Offensively: RHH. Neutral stance, maintains a 45 degree bat angle with high hands; uses barrel tip to control timing along with a leg lift transferring weight well. Strides outside shoulder width, paired with an active back leg used to clear his hips with slightly casts hands backwards before turning his barrel to catch the ball over his front foot. Uses long levers to fire the ball in the air up the middle and pull side, uses his length well; peak Trackman exit velocity of 89 MPH. Defensively: Slightly upright, playing with one foot forward; gathers feets well before fielding the ground ball, always fielding on his glove side foot. Good hands, clean transfer into a momentum gathering crow hop; long arm swing that gets up just in time to fire to the target, high 3/4 slot . OF - 83 MPH. Pitching: Good tempo with delivery with the "tall and fall" lower half mindset. Long swing, but uses long arms to his advantage to generate velocity . FB: T 83MPH, 80-83 MPH. Sat around 80 mph with an average spin rate, his fastball would play just fine at the knees and to glove side extension. CB: 65-66 MPH. Curveball would be used great as a "get me over" pitch early in the count. SL: MPH. Slider had good late dive away from a RHH just before the plate. CH: 68-71 MPH. Changeup is a quality pitch as he kills the spin on it compared to his fastball, effectively giving the pitch downward action.
