Inglee, a 2018 right-handed hitting middle infielder, stands at 6-foot-0 and weighs 150 pounds, ran a 7.44 60. Offensively- Starts with a slightly open lower half with a slight shift of weight to the backside with the hands well above the back shoulder, ear height, while the barrel of the bat is parallel to the ground. Gets to the launch phase of the swing with a lift of the lead leg with an inward rotation of the knee and foot, with the hands loaded directly back off the shoulder. Aggressive compact swing, showing the ability to drive the ball well from the pull side line to the middle of the field. Recorded an exit velocity of 78 MPH on the day, which could improve with getting the lead heel down quicker keeping the front hip in longer and helping with better extension. Defensively- Quality pre pitch movement getting the body into motion and athletic position. Tentative approach to the ball, fielding the ball with a narrow base off the right side of the body rather than the glove side. Transfers the ball from the waist using quality footwork to get the body into a strong throwing position, which helped registered an impressive arm velocity of 85 MPH. Pitching- Starts from the third base side of the rubber with the hands held chin height. Gets to the gathered position with a step towards the first base line with the pivot foot dragging to the center of the rubber getting the knee slightly above the waistline with a minimal inward rotation of the hips. Clean separation with long arm action, sticking the landing with a slightly closed toe with a bit of a loose front side. The fastball, thrown from a mid ¾ arm slot, showed life at 82 MPH with good tilt working to both sides of the plate staying mostly in the lower third of the zone. Changeup showed arm side run as well as sink, showing a positive differential off the fastball at 71 MPH. The curveball, topping out at 72 MPH, showed tight rotation and more of a slurve action staying low in the zone.
