The athlete's fastest 60-yard dash time in the given event year. Measured in seconds (s)
8.07
Outfield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an outfield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
77.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.

A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.

The reactive strength index measurement of an athlete's explosiveness by comparing their jump height to the ground contact time in between their jumps. On a scale of 0-5.
Vertical Jump
A measure of any athlete's body strength and reach calculated from the flight time divided by the contact time.
The maximum speed, in the direction of home plate, that the wrist is traveling. Measured in meters per second (m/s)
Arm Slot
Angle of the forearm relative to the ground between maximum external rotation (MER) and ball release (BR). Which can be a powerful player comparison metric, delivered in degrees.
Knee Extension Velo
The angular velocity of the front knee straightening after foot plant, which provides indicators of velocity potential. Measured in degrees per second.
Deception
The amount of time that the ball is visible to the hitter, after the instant of front foot strike. Measures in milliseconds.
Hip-Shoulder Separation
The difference in angle of between the hips and shoulders, occurring close to the foot plant. Measured in degrees.
Physical: 6-foot-1, 170 pounds; Lean, wiry build. Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly open. Long arm swing while showing some scap load; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 79 MPH, while sitting 75-78 MPH. CB: 65-67 MPH. CH: 64-68 MPH.
6/27/22
Physical: 6-foot-1, 170 pounds; Lean, athletic build. Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 78 MPH, while sitting 74-77 MPH; ride through the top of the zone. CB: 64-65 MPH; 11-5 shape. SL: 64-66 MPH; tilting break. OTHER: SPL: 65-68 MPH; late drop.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride while landing slightly open. Moderate arm swing while arm wraps behind the body; high 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 78 MPH, while sitting 75-78 MPH; flashes ride and arm side run. CB: 62-64 MPH; early action. SL: 64-67 MPH; lateral action. CH: 67-68 MPH; fading action.
6/30/21
Physical: Tall, projectable 6-foot, 160lb frame with some lanky features in the build.
Pitching: RHP - Started comfortable off the middle of the rubber; adequate pace in the delivery, finding some separation at hand break after the stack position. Released at a repeatable H ¾ slot with slight downward tilt on the front-side, entering the zone at 69-72 mph for strikes (44% zone rate, arm-side run, 1729rpms average). Mixed a short 62-64 mph CB with gradual spin characteristics, turning to a small fading 65-68 mph CH to tunnel off the heater at 1460rpms. Led with the FB mostly, landing the CH as his go-to secondary offering.
6/28/21
Physical: Lean, lengthy 6-foot, 160lb frame with a high-waist and projection available on the bump.
Pitching: RHP - Started off the middle/right side of the rubber with a shorter side-rocker step flowing into a medium leg-lift at the top of the stack; created separation on the hand break, stabbing at a deeper position in the arm-circle and then holding pace to H ¾ slot. Repeated well for the most part, landing in-line with good sequence into the glove. The FB ranged from 70-72 mph at 1729rpms and 16 inches of average IVB (played heavy at the plate). Held the zone at a 44% clip and then mixed a shorter 61-64 mph CB across the plate in advantage counts. Later added an occasionally fading 65-67 mph CH to the arm-side, killing spin at 1460rpms (via Trackman).
3/28/21
Physical: Long, lean 6-foot, 165 lb frame.
Pitching: Fundamental, balanced delivery with a leg lift above the belt before striding down and out in line to a repeatable release. mid arm swing drawing back out of the glove to a natural 3/4 release. FB: Locates around the zone flashing ride (20" induced vertical) and arm side run (16" horizontal movement). CB: 2-plane break out of FB release with up to 4" vertical drop and 6" horizontal movement. CH: Kills the spin with up to 15" arm side fade.
