An athletic lean 6-foot-1, 170 pounds projectable frame. Ran a 7.26 60 yard dash. Offensively- stands in the box with feet shoulder width apart. Short load and stride towards the pitcher. Displayed an inside out swing. Gets full extension through the point of contact. Good use of the lower half. A lot more left in the tank. Top exit velocity was 82 MPH. Defensively- aggressive to the baseball. Smooth actions with fielding the ball. Quick release on throws to the plate. Top throwing velocity was 82 MPH. The 2020 graduate is a must follow. Projectable frame and athletic actions will gain interest.

Alexis is a 6’1” 170 lb OF that ran a 4.47 home-to-first. Offensively: Stands with a slight crouch, employs a big leg kick. Did a great job of getting into hitting position, generates line drives. Got good extension and finishes with both hands on the bat. Defensively: Charged the ball well in the outfield, showed athletic movements.

Castillo stands in at 6-foot-0, 160-pounds with a lean athletic frame. Ran a 7.20 – 60. Offensively- Sets up slightly open with knees bent and an upright torso. Hands held at chest level in front of his body with little pre-pitch bat movement. On pitch his trigger is a slow knee raise into a step forward while his hands move back slightly into his hitting position. Lower body rotation is decent but could be more aggressive. Inside-out bat path hitting everything to middle-opposite field. More of a trigger will provide more energy into the swing. Recorded an exit velocity of 73 MPH. Defensively- Good approach and footwork getting behind and under ball in outfield. Crow hop and transfer to throwing hand is fluid. Release point from outfield is a high ¾ and needs to have better extension to allow for accuracy and carry. Moves well left/right and gets into a good fielding position. Recorded a positional velocity of 71 MPH.
