Rodriguez is a 5-foot-11 160 pound SS/RHP with a wiry/athletic frame. He ran a a 7.17 60. Offensively - Right handed hitter with an exit velo of 78 MPH off a tee. Sets up with an open stance and slight leg kick. Aggressive actions to the ball; short, direct line to the ball with a two-handed finish. Was able to hit the ball to all fields.  Defensively - Good footwork, keeps ball on the left side of his body. Infield velocity of 67 MPH, slight pushing motion into release. Focus on staying down and moving hands through the ball during the catch-phase to accelerate actions through the throwing process. Second base projection, will need to improve overall arm strength.

Athletic 5-foot-11 160 pound frame for the SS/RHP. Ran a 7.24 60. Offensively- Open setup with 45 degree bat angle; slight take back of the hands with a soft stride to event. Stays behind the ball with balance throughout; short swing path, late one-hand finish. Line drive/middle of the field results. Exit velocity peaked at 78 MPH. Defensively- Active feet, creates angles to work through the ball and soft with hands out in front. Arm strength more suitable for 2B at 69 MPH. Pitching- Sets up top of the rubber with side step up to 3/4 chest balance point with slight coil. Arm action is long working through a high 3/4 slot. FB was 68-70 MPH, CB featured early 12-to-6 action but was able to spot. Repeats delivery.
