Stands an athletic yet slender 5-foot-10, 142-pounds.  He showed above average hands and framing ability, behind the plate during live bullpens.  From glove to hand he showed a quick transfer, yet he needs to learn to shorten his arm path on throws down to second.  At the plate he start wide and tall with his hands at shoulder height.  He uses a short and quick back-load for timing on the pitch.  Shows a good downward angle towards impact, stays level and through the ball.  Should work on his weight distribution.  Getting his weight forward more should enable his to stay inside the ball more and create extension.  He is an athletic looking catcher, with good instincts.  Look forward to seeing him in the future as he grows and gains strength.
