The athlete's fastest 60-yard dash time in the given event year. Measured in seconds (s)
6.87
Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
78.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.

A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average

A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.
The highest Edge Score within the given year. Edge Score is a comprehensive score that takes the core-six visual skills into account, providing an assessment of an athlete’s overall visual ability.
Physical: Projectable, athletic 6-foot, 180lb frame with some length involved throughout strong actions. 6.87 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH - Balanced, even stance just outside shoulder-width as the hands bounced in rhythm to start. Utilized a directional, deliberate lift and replace stride initiating the bat head through a flat path into the hitting zone (good barrel accuracy). Was able to drive the ball where it was pitched, covering the plate and spraying line drives all over the field, from line to line. Stayed inside the legs, producing good connection at the plate and batted ball distances up into the 330 foot range (via Trackman). Reached a T88 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak and could backspin the ball when thrown up in the zone.
Defensively: The shortstop used a hop in the “prep step” gaining significant ground on early reads off the bat. Arrived with good range in either direction and used a soft glove hand inside/outside his body depending on rep. Able to field cleanly and funnel inward, releasing after a shuffle from H ¾ slot (78 mph arm).
Pitching: RHP - Started from the stretch-only off the middle of the rubber; medium leg lift with some pace, getting down the slope with a shorter stride length and over/downhill on the front side at H ¾ at release. The FB operated from 76-78 mph with lower spin and strike throwing abilities. Mixed a downer 64-66 mph CB at an 11/5 tilt, gradually gaining shape and missing barrels when leveraged. Then added a developing 71-73 mph CH that held the zone just enough (25% zone rate via Trackman) showing slight fade to the arm-side.

Physical: 6-foot-0, 162 pounds; wiry, proportional build. 6.76 runner in the 60. Offensively: LHH. Slightly open stance, some weight loaded on back foot, flat bat angle; uses a small stride forward, picking bat up from his shoulder. Active lower half, clears hips effectively and creates quality hip-shoulder separation with long swing path, shoulder match bat plate on contact. Was able to square up balls and send hard line drives the opposite way; peak Trackman exit velocity of 87 MPH. Defensively: Athletic stance, keeps some bend in knees; utilizes a small prep hop just before getting around the baseball to field it. Very soft hands, funnels to his belt leading to a clean transfer; sometimes was a low 3/4 slot depending on if he was able to get his feet under him or not. INF - 67 MPH. Pitching: Sets up on the first base side of the rubber, using one toe tap into leg lift creating some leverage down the slope with good stride length. Long arm action, really getting all of his high 3/4 slot . FB: T 79MPH, 77-79 MPH. Fastball had slight ASR when thrown arm side, flattened out when thrown down the middle/glove side. CB: 66-68 MPH. Good shape and break to curveball, solid 2 strike pitch. CH: When he got over his front side on changeup it had good downward dive to it.
