10/21/18 - Large Frame, 6-2, 160, Fierstein has wide shoulders that parallel his lower half. He has developing strength with methodical movements. He is a deliberate fielder with a low ¾ arm angle that results in push throws, limiting carry and velocity. Physical strength increases will be pertinent to accommodate his strength over speed inclination to the game. Fierstein’s stance is narrow, striding to a point of good balance with weight transfer to a flexed front leg. He maintains a learned rhythm in his load that results in a solid bat path, finishing below his lead shoulder. His swing mechanics are very controlled and lead to consistent contact. A first baseman, Fierstein could see improved power in less control and more explosiveness to his approach.
