10/21/18 - High wasted, 5-8, 120, Barry has an athletic frame with room to add weight and strength. He is a long projection, yet capable infielder with solid mechanics. Patrick’s size and strength presently lend him to second base, but increases will provide velocity and carry to his throws, allowing him to play third and possibly shortstop down the line.  He has a solid feel for his capabilities using a quick release and right-over-left footwork to propel his throws across the diamond.  At the plate, he maintains a balanced setup and a succinct rhythmic load.  He uses a line drive, middle of the field approach and creates consistent quality contact. Patrick’s swing has a touch of natural loft which will play to gap power with maturity and physical development.  Overall weight and strength gains will have a huge impact on his game.
