Sturdy, 6-foot-2 185, Vint is a physical corner infielder with the athleticism and arm strength to become special. He throws from a natural ¾ slot making plays on the run and slow rollers easy to finish. He has a feel for multiple angle throws moving to his backhand as well as double play feeds. At the plate, he has a solid combination of strength and bat speed. He uses his lower half effectively, staying in his legs to enhance his power. He maintains mostly pull side approach, making consistent hard contact. Vint looks to be a prototypical third baseman, middle of the order bat.
Vint is athletic with present strength. He maintains the potential to have some low-end value on the mound with work and development. His fastball ranged 75-78 while the breaking ball and changeup were 66-67 and 70-72, respectively. Vint is another athlete with the capability to throw strikes. He has solid life to his pitches and zone feel.
2/10/19 -Looks the part, 6-foot-2 185, Vint is a projectable infielder with the size and skill set to be special. He has soft hands noticeable upon fielding some in-between hops. His rhythm and internal clock are developing but time will cure with present feel. He ran well underway and turned in a solid 60 time for age and size at 7.16. His size and strength could very well improve. At the plate, he uses a leg kick trigger with his knee remaining over his front ankle for the most part. Leans a little bit out over the plate, creating a manageable length to his swing, consistently barreling the ball. Huge upside for Vint who has the ability to stay on the left side of the infield and could profile as a third baseman at the next level.
