Just a freshman, he posted an event best 83 Max fastball. He showed a feel for spin in a 68-69 breaking ball with occasional depth. He has limited feel for a changeup but his youthful athleticism is easily projectable. Look for Mitchell to be a factor on the mound at the next level.
