2024 LHP Hudson White (Illinois State) is one of the highest-profile arms here in Cocoa and didn’t disappoint in the nightcap at the stadium. Added strength was evident on the mound at 6-foot-4, 217-pounds and he pounded the zone with the fastball at 86-88 T89. Had plenty of swing/miss on the pitch and coupled it with a tight breaking ball that had shape at 72-74. Attackers hitters and made quick work on the mound. Impressive start to the year one of the top prospects on the East Coast and also swung the bat well.

2024 LHP Hudson White was back to his regular form on Sunday, looking noticeably stronger since the Future Games, now standing at 6-foot-4, 195-pounds. He pounded the glove with a fastball at 85-88mph and an improved breaking ball with late, downward action at 71-73mph. Also flashed a slider and splitter. Really intriguing overall package with the size, left-handedness, stuff and mechanics. White was the main attraction at the event as they saved the best last and with all the eyes in the building on him, he didn’t disappoint. One of the top uncommitted arms in the country.

After seeing White at the Future Games, we were looking forward to seeing White again. While still raw on the mound there is lots to like from the 6-foot-4, 195-pound lefty. Uncommitted 2024 with quick and whippy arm action and lots more in the tank. At the dish, White’s bat impressed in Niagara where he collected multiple extra-base hits. Looks comfortable from the right side and carries the barrel through the zone. Good feel to hit with some juice. Projectable young body that will be exciting to watch as he continues to mature on both sides of the ball.
