9/20/15 -- Victor Cruz is 5-foot-11, 185 pounds with broad shoulders and room to fill out. He hits from the right side with an aggressive approach. He swings hard, has a swing that is easy on the eyes. He has potential plus bat speed. Doesn't yet have full control of the barrel but that will come as he matures physically. Defensively, his hands are a bit hard but he does a fine job keeping in front of the ball and playing through it. He has arm strength from a higher arm slot and his throws have carry. Cruz could jump in rankings when he gets better control of the bat head.
