Primatic has a lanky, athletic build at 6-foot-4 185-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.36-seconds and recorded an exit velocity of 88 MPH – both were one of the top statistics of all of the catchers at the event. At the plate, Primatic starts in a narrow, tall stance. As pitch comes in, he uses a small leg lift and stride to start his swing. Strong, compact to contact, the ball jumps off of Primatic's bat with pop that sounded different at this event. Finishes slightly uphill. Gap to gap hitter. Doubled to deep CF that one-hopped the wall in gameplay. Behind the dish – Primatic was consistently a 2.03-2.06 both in the workout and during game play. Velocity down to 2B topped at 75 MPH. Short, and explosive out of the crouch, Primatic's catch-and-throw ability/quickness project well as a college catcher. Able to handle velocity with ease – flexible hips as a tall, lanky player get him low to the ground in the squat.
