9/20/15 – Gladis is 5-foot-9, 180 pounds with present strength and more on the way. He hits from a narrow stance and has a short compact swing and an all-fields approach. He showed a good feel for barrel control and sprayed the ball around the outfield with line drives. With a more incorporated lower half, Gladis could show more pop in the bat. Gladis pitched with good hip lead and was only slightly off in terms of direction. He had good tempo and rhythm into a quick, compact arm action. He pitches from a high ¾ arm slot. He pitched with a high-70s fastball which he kept in the bottom half of the zone. His breaking ball had depth potential but needs to be thrown with higher intent. He showed good feel for how to protect his 12/6 curveball with high fastballs. This left-hander knows how to pitch.
