Gaudioso is a very physical 6-foot-2, 215 pound catching prospect from Seton Hall Prep. He is really quiet in the box with a small, seamless load and stride. He needs to incorporate his lower half but he does have current strength in his swing. He has the ability to create lift to his pull side. Defensively, he is a fine receiver with flexible hips for a player of his size. His blocking skills should progress as he works on it; he is athletic enough to pick up on adjustments. His throwing mechanics are choppy and could be cleaned up a bit. I’m excited to see him progress.
