2019 Preseason All State Showcase
Moreira stands at 5-foot-9, 175-pounds. Has a real physical and athletic frame. On the mound, sets up on the middle of the rubber with his feet angled. Keeps his arm cocked during his arm swing. 3/4 arm slot. Has a slight pause at the top of his delivery but maintains tempo. Gets into his backside as he rides the slope. Stride direction stays in line. In the stretch, stems up on the first base side of the rubber with his feet slightly closed and back leg preset. Fastball was located to both sides of the plate and sat at 79-81 MPH. Curveball was thrown for strikes and mostly vertical break at 66-68 MPH. Changeup displayed late run and sink at times, definite out pitch. CH was 70-71 MPH.
