6.28.18 Firecracker
6-foot-4, 190-pound, long, lengthy, physical athletic frame. The shoulder are rounded back is wide, has room for added strength. A right-handed pitcher, the delivery is controlled and simple. Looks to stay tall on the backside and work downhill to the plate. The hands start and stay at mid-chest, has smooth high leg raise with some coil to it, separation is even and on time. The lead arm is locked down and inline to target, stride is straight with good length to it, and finishes on target. The arm path has a bottom to top top swing, its clean and works out of a high 3.4 slot. The fastball reached 82 mph, located in the bottom part of zone, showed run to arm side. The breaking ball had 11/5 break to it, looked to be tight and thrown for strikes at 67 mph, chance to be a usable pitch at the next level. The change up was clocked at 76 mph, action and fade to arm side. Looked to be in control and confident during bullpen work, worked quick and was clocked at 1.25 in set position.
Hopewell Valley/Flemington Scout Day (June 17, 2017)
Big, projectable frame at 6-foot-3, 190-pounds. Two way player, running his 60-yard dash in an average 7.35 seconds. Looked comfortable at the plate with an uphill swing. His exit velocity was 81 MPH. Also extend his arms and used his lower half well. At 3rd base he displayed average footwork, with a slow transfer. He had a  strong throw at 81 MPH that produced carry. On the mound Pizzico had solid mechanics with a ¾ arm slot. His fastball at 80-81 MPH and topping at 82 MPH had downward movement. Was able to locate well with his fastball. Also showed a sweeping curveball at 67-68 MPH. Along with that he showed a changeup at 73-75 MPH that had depth and fade. Change up showed potential.
