Chenault has 6-foot-1, 200-pound physical frame. Exit velocity of 96 mph, showing his ability to drive the ball with power. Started in balanced athletic  stance, had a smooth load and used a leg kick just before his swing. Bat speed is electric, uses an upward swing plane and a high finish. Path exhibited a drive the ball approach. While in the infield, made throws across the field up to 79 mph; his hands were raw and his exchange was fluid. Used a loose arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.43.

Chenault has a broad shouldered athletic frame at 6-foot-1 190-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.34-seconds and an exit velocity topped at 96 MPH, which was one of the highest of the event. Offensively, a left handed hitter, starts in a neutral stance and slight crouch with hands above back shoulder. Uses a small leg lift and stride to start swing. Hands load back slightly. Possesses big gap to gap power with a quick, concise swing through the zone and a slight uphill finish. Defensively, throws topped at 72 MPH across the diamond from first base. Replaces feet with rhythm on double play feeds. Long arm action with arm side fade.

Chenault has a strong, broad-shouldered build at 6-foot-1, 190-pounds. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.91 seconds. Recorded an exit velo of 92, one of the tops at the event. Chenault starts at the plate in an open and athletic stance. Keeps his knees slightly bent and body loose. Hands begin around shoulder height away from the body. Brings his hands back during his load, with a slight bat wrap. Normal leg kick. Showed ability to drive the ball to all fields. Got off his backside well and kept himself balanced. Easy gap-to-gap power. Defensively, took reps as a first baseman. Recorded a velo of 73 MPH. Shows fundamental footwork to the baseball. Stays athletic in his approach. Made accurate throws from a high 3/4 arm slot.
