Physical: Strong, imposing 6-foot-2, 195lb build; big body. 6.94 runner in the 60YD.
Offensively: Switch. Upright, slightly bent stance, as the hands work flat by the head to start. Utilized a leg-hang stride to initiate the swing through a direct path into the hitting zone from a somewhat taller posture. Plenty of barrel control while hitting behind the front side, up to a T96MPH exit. More comfortable as a RH hitter; furthest blast traveled 323FT.
Defensively: The primary shortstop showed off little effort across the diamond in this look, but still flashed silky actions in hands. Sat down on the ball nicely for double-play turn and has been up to 89MPH previously. Feel to drop a H ¾ slot lower on run.

Mack has a broad shouldered, athletic frame at 6-foot-1 175-pounds. Has put on noticeable size and strength since we last saw him. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.26 seconds and recorded an exit velocity of 92 mph. Offensively, took reps right and lefty. From the right side, starts in a balanced, athletic stance with hands above back shoulder. Weight exchange, small foot lift and stride. Fluid load and compact swing through the zone. From the left side, similar set up, load brings hands down and back with some pull side pop. Defensively, throws topped at 89 mph across the infield. Prep step, bounce to his game in the infield. Good feel for glovework and able to throw from multiple different slots with ease on the run. On the mound, fastball topped at 87 mph and sat mostly 84-86 in his bullpen. Flashed a breaking ball at 69-72 with tight spin and significant horizontal break (-15.7 HM, -3.1IVM). Flashed a changeup at 78-80 with some armside fade. Easy, fluid mechanics into a strong balance point. Whippy arm stroke and repeatable finish. One of the top players in the 2024 class in New Jersey.

Funnels into his midsection. On the mound, has a smooth delivery with rhythm and tempo. Even shoulder tilt. Gets over his frontside, strong brace leg. Maintains stride direction. Closed off when throwing from the stretch. Long, loose arm action and a high 3/4 slot. Worked his FB at 78-79 MPH, touching 80 MPH. 11/6 shape on his breaker at 64-66 MPH.
