6-foot-0, 185 pound raw skilled versatile player with a wiry frame, athletic body and has a large build. In the box he looks like an athlete from the right side with open feet and bend at the knees. He has a compact swing, more of a pull approach, needs to stay on the baseball longer. His exit velocity was 82 mph. Defensively, at shortstop he is quick and light on his feet. He attacked the ball, but had balance in his body and showed off a solid arm for a 21’ at 80 mph. He didn’t miss a step in the OF showing off the same strength in his arm at 80 mph, showed feel from both positions. As he fills out and gains more strength expect his measurables to increase. On the mound, he throws from a high ¾ arm slot with a short arm swing, needs to let the baseball go, has more in there. He touched 77 mph with his FB with armside run and showed an above average breaking ball with bite sitting 71-73. Someone to keep on your radar for this upcoming season.
