Rider commit. Winsett has a lanky-athletic build at 6-foot-2 170-pounds. A left handed swinger, Winsett’s versatility was on display the entire day in the field. Routinely in the mid 80s with his velocity across the infield, Winsett can play 2B, SS, and 3B with ease. At the plate, starts in a tall, slightly opened stance with bat wrapped around his head. Uses a foot stride to start swing as hands load down slightly. Line drive hitter at contact, creates barrel extension and rises up in finish. In the field, the ball jumps out of his hand from a high-¾ slot. Quick glove exchange, and is able to throw from multiple different angles.
Winsett has a lean and athletic frame at 6-foot-2, 165-pounds. He ran the 60 yard dash in 7.46 seconds. Recorded an exit velo of 85 mph. Starts at the plate with an open stance, while staying loose and balanced. Hands begin shoulder height and away from the body. Utilizes a toe tap while his hands move backwards slowly to time the ball up. Shifts his weight efficiently and hands work quickly through the zone to create gap to gap power. Has barrel awareness. Defensively, recorded a 84 MPH velo from the INF, one of the best of the event. Approaches the ball under control. Brings the baseball to his midsection before he transfers at his chest and fires strong throws with carry.
