Martin is 5-foot-11 160-pound lanky but athletic infielder. The varsity starting SS as a frosh for Pascack Valley, Martin's swing is initiated by a small stride and quick torque of the hips. Swing can get a little long, but will shorten as he continues to mature and get stronger. Line drive hitter with 74 MPH Exit Velocity. In the field, Martin registered 76 MPH across the diamond with a short arm swing at a 3/4 slot. Showed accuracy on throws, especially from the back hand at shortstop with backspin and carry. Martin is clean in his exchange and finishes through his throws to first base. Shows average footwork in moving to plays up the middle.
