New Jersey Games (July 23, 2016)
Dahl is a physical 6-foot-1 192-pound OF/RHP. Hands start low, load is started by a big leg kick, although hand load is consistent. Average hand speed. Exit Velo 82. Ran a 7.34 60.
Defensively -  84 mph from the OF, throws from high 3/4 slot. Average movements, projects to be more of a corner outfielder.
Pitching - Starts his windup with the side of his back foot flush with the rubber, almost like he is in the stretch. Good tempo in delivery, slight hitch at the top of balance point, just before going down the mound. High 3/4 slot. Some arm side run, occasionally lands unbalanced or fall to first base side. Topped at 78, sat mostly 75-77 mph.


Winter Trials North (December 6, 2015)

Gregory Dahl is a physical 6-foot-1, 192 pound RHP/OF from a quality St. Mary’s program. He had an excellent day at the Winter Trials North event. On the bump, the right-hander pitched with a presence about him. He pitches with good tempo and sound mechanics. He does, however, land across his body. This may not be a huge issue as he showed the ability to command the glove side and down. He has a loose, clean arm action from a ¾ arm slot. He has a heavy fastball at 77-81 miles-per-hour. His slider has late two-plane tilt at 70-72 MPH. His changeup showed solid potential at 68-70 MPH with arm side fade.
