5-foot-11, 145-pound slim frame. During the event, ran the 60-yard dash in 7.35. Begins in a tall open stance with a small load, then uses a controlled stride just before his swing. Bat speed was above average, displayed simple loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found a few barrels through his rounds. Line drive approach. the left-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 87 mph. From the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 73 mph; has athletic feet, sure hands and a clean exchange. Showed a short arm action and an-over-the-top slot.
Offensively- the left handed hitter stands in the box in a tall stance. Simple load actions. Quick direct path to the baseball. Displayed hard consistent contact to the pull side of the field. Finishes in an upright position. Defensively- the OF has an aggressive approach to the baseball. Smooth exchange and throws from a high ¾ arm slot. Flugger is a 2022 graduate with good actions and a projectable lean athletic frame.
