Physical: Lean, athletic 5-foot-9, 145lb build with plenty of room to add. 6.80 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH - Quiet, balanced stance into the lower half, as the hands operated pre-set at the shoulder with barrel-tilt forward. Utilized a controlled leg-lift stride to initiate the swing through a flat path into the hitting zone towards a two-handed finish. Middle of the field approach yielding an 89 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak. Found the gaps on occasion when getting the head out, accruing a 331 foot distance to the pull-side. Consistent, contact hitter that finds barrels and adjusts.
Defensively: The middle infielder showed lower posture that worked right to left on the ball, as soft hands played smoothly out in front. Quick exchange and kept the feet moving at all times on a line to the target. Really finished off the throw from a H ¾ slot, following for a couple steps after the release (86 mph best). Could drop down and throw lower on the run accurately, natural feel.
