Initially starts with his bat on his shoulder and hands in line with his back shoulder. Brings his elbow parallel to the ground. Moves his hands back and down as he initiates his big leg kick. Has a smooth weight transfer. Gets off his backside well and maintains rhythm throughout. Defensively, took reps at first base and recorded a top velo of 71 MPH on his throws. Uses the appropriate footwork around first base, makes good turns to make throws to second. Creates momentum towards his targets. On the mound, starts on the first base of the mound with his feet together. Works quickly and with tempo. Short, clean arm action. Releases from a 3/4 arm slot. High leg kick. Gets fully into his backside. Even shoulder tilt as he goes down the mound. From the stretch, keeps his feet closed and back leg preset. Fastball topped at 76 MPH and sat 74-76 MPH. FB was located to both sides of the plate. Curveball showed 11/5 shape in the zone at 61-62 MPH. Displayed a straight changeup at 65-66 MPH.
