Duke commit. 6-foot, 145-pound left-handed two-way prospect, physically still coming into his own with a lean athletic build, broad shoulders, projects to put on a significant amount of strength. Offensively, wide setup with an athletic bend in his knees, hands start near his ear, short load back, remains balanced throughout. Lets the barrel fly with advanced control and bat speed for his age, smooth swing, long through the zone, good hand eye coordination, had no trouble making square contact all weekend long, even on tough left on left matchups. On the mound, short, clean arm action, hides it well through a ¾ slot. Works on-line, keeps his front-side closed, a bit rotational. Fastball sat 81-82 with armside run. Curveball, showed depth at 67-68, has the makings of a future out pitch.
