Above average and projectable during batting practice, Lucier had a max exit velocity of 91 mph. (66.0 mph bat speed average). (19.1 mph hand speed average). Began in a balanced wide stance with a high load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was quick, showed an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish.
