5-foot-7, 145-pound left-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a solid 6.98 sixty at the event and did it with ease. The glove and approach to the ball is appropriate in the infield. Probably a second baseman at the college level. Threw 74 mph across the diamond. His feet are good and he throws from a ¾ slot. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 73 mph as the frame needs strength. Starts the swing with his feet even and the front foot is open. He closes down the front foot as the ball approaches. The path is flat through the ball as he sprays the ball around the yard. Uses the barrel well to stay on the ball. The bottom half of the swing is under control.
Tee Exit Velo- 73 mph
INF Velo- 74 mph
Lashed balls all over the yard at the event, hammering 3 line drives in consecutive at bats. Did a really good job in his at bats of staying on pitches and using the whole field. The set up is even with his feet and he is under control of them throughout the swing. The path is flat and he spread the field with a little effort in the swing. Tee exit velocity of 74 mph. Strength in the frame will only help him improve. Good runner, as he ran a 4.34 down the line on his dig. The glove is solid and he moves well with his feet. The arm works, threw 74 mph across the diamond. Probably more of a second baseman as he handled the pivot better from that side of the bag and his arm slot leans you that way. Good looking left-handed hitting follow.
Small and athletic middle infielder who had a good workout at the event. Ran a 4.29 down the line on the dig to first base. Showed a solid glove in the middle and the ability to handle the pivot. Threw 75 mph across the diamond. Will be a solid defender all the way through, the tools are there. The bat needs strength and his focus should be on staying inside the ball to spray it around with a good usage of small ball. Tee exit velocity of 71 mph. Hits out of an open stance and does not get all the way closed as the ball approaches. Drops the hands to start the swing, causing him to be a sweeper with his path to the ball. The footspeed and defense are there, getting stronger and shortening the bat path will advance his game
