6-foot-1, 155-pound right-handed pitcher, he threw the ball very well at the event as his progression is starting to take off. The fastball sat at 79 mph, arm side run to the pitch. The spin pitch is a plus pitch at 72-74 mph. The changeup is 72-74 mph and trending up. The delivery is online and the slot is slightly above 3/4. The lift is repeated, arm is short on the backside and he hides the ball a bit. The tempo is solid and he throws strikes. The ability to pound the zone with strikes is present and when he gets to his slider he is at an advantage.

6-foot-1, 155-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 75-76 with arm side run to the pitch. The breaking pitch is 70-71 mph, solid in shape and a possible out pitch at the next level. The high velocity of the breaking ball is an indicator of more fastball velocity coming on. The changeup is 69-71 mph with action to the arm side, the changeup was plus at times as well. The delivery is online with the feet and above 3/4 in slot. The glove has pull and the front foot opens a bit quickly during leg drive. He needs to stay closed longer on the bottom half to maximize the strength of the bottom half. The arm is clean and works. I like the makings of his secondary pitches.
5/11/19
5-foot-11, 145-pound right-handed pitcher. The fastball sat 75 -77 mph with minimal action to the pitch. The breaking ball was 67-68 mph, solid in shape and form. The changeup is 70-71 mph with solid fade and sink to the pitch. The delivery is online with the feet and above 3/4 in slot. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to be adjusted as he comes offline prior to getting to foot strike. The glove has a significant amount of pull to it. The lift is methodical and repeated, ball hand gets close to the ear as it comes out front. With better direction he would see a cleaner and show better command of the ball.
10/14/18
5-foot-11, 145-pound, longer, lengthy, athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders squared off, has plenty of room for added weight and mass. A right-handed pitcher, simple controlled delivery. The hands start and stay at the mid section. The leg kick is athletic, weight stays on the backside, clean separation. The lower half is inline to plate, gets squared up on release, with minimal pull of front glove. Slight collapse on backside, could stay taller throughout. The arm action is longer, works out of a ¾ slot, good extension on release. The fastball was clocked 70-73 mph, with good sink to it, located it to both sides of the plate. The changeup was the top secondary pitch, above average action and fade, clocked at 68- 70 mph. The breaking ball is more of a small slider, clocked at 66-67 mph, smaller horizontal break. Pounded the zone with all three pitches, above average feel for pitching for his age. A regimented throwing program with strength training will aid in his velocity. Potential of being a top arm at some point.
