Wyman is a 6-foot, 185 pound left-handed hitting infield/outfield prospect. He hits out of a wide stance, with the hands set just off the back shoulder. A toe tap starts the swing, with the bat taking a quick, slightly uphill path through the hitting zone. He shows the ability to use the middle of the field and produced an exit velocity of 89 MPH.
In the outfield, Wyman was 79 MPH on his throws. His feet are light as he works to get into a good fielding position. His exchange is clean and creates a direct line with his target. The arm works out of a long, fluid swing and he finishes over his front side.
In the infield, Wyman was 76 MPH on his throws across the diamond. The feet are good, he moves well laterally and the hands are soft as he works through each ground ball. He creates a direct line with his target, using the same long, loose arm-swing to work the ball across the infield. He finishes through the play well, maintaining a good line with the target.
