Aaron Masson: 3B/RHP, (2025) Salem, NH. 200-pound mature build. Projectable at the plate, Masson was ranked 2nd with an exit velocity of 93 mph. (65.1 mph bat speed average). (19.6 mph hand speed average). Began in a wide open stance with a controlled load, then used a closed small stride. Bat speed is quick, shows an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 78 mph; showed developing feet, a natural exchange, and developing soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were developing. Decent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action. Projectable on the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action with developing arm speed. Feel type pitcher and showed some effort. Showed on- line shoulders with a consistent balance point. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Sat with his fastball at 81-82 mph; shows running sinking action and command arm side around the zone. (Max spin 2093; Avg 2047). Shows sweeping action and glove side around the zone command on his curveball (68-69). (Max spin 2303; Avg 2273). His changeup (74-75) had arm side command and gradual fading action.
