6-foot-2,190 pound left handed pitcher topped out at 81 mph with his fastball. Ranked #16 in Nebraska 2019 rankings. USC-Upstate Commit. Mature build. Short arm action on the backside, long out front. Some stiffness on the front side. Fastball has late run and sink to his arm side on a downhill plane. 1/7 shaped breaking ball with larger loop, early breaking. Commanded the zone with left on left, sporadic command of the strike zone at times.
8/13/17- 6-foot-2, 175 pound two way player ran a 7.71 60 yard sprint. Topped out at 78 mph with his fastball from a mid ¾ arm slot. FB fades to his armside. Clean front side with a tendency to fly open, pie arm actions with some funk on the backside. Solid shape on 69-71 mph breaking with horizontal tilt. Slightly open tall stance, leg kick trigger, slightly uphill barrel path, all fields approach. Posted an 79 mph exit velocity. Active actions at first base, hands and feet play outfront, clean transfers that topped out at 72 mph across to third base.
