Perez matched Dickens throughout the game, with stuff that may have been down a little from previous outings PBR has seen.  Fastball sat 79-80, touching 81 with good feel for the arm side.  Some arm side run, especially late in counts to right handed hitters.  Breaking ball is short, with late action, touching 70.  Good athlete that controls the run game and fields his position.   Found several barrels as a left handed hitter as well.  Looses and aggressive with an ability to spray the ball.  Good strength in a small stature.

Potential dual player flashed on both ends in this 3rd round game.  Started on the bump working from a high-3/4 slot with a short, strong arm swing.  Good head stability at balance.  Fastball ranged 77-78.  Good three pitch mix, with an ability to add and subtract on the breaking ball that sat 65-67, but dipped to 62 at times.  2/7 shape with gradual arc.  Gets as much effect on the change of speed as the shape.  Change-up used as a third pitch at 71.  Change was in the zone, fading as it entered the swing path.  Smaller stature but strength in the 5-foot-8, 170 pound frame.  Works with ease.  In the box, left handed hitter has a feel for the barrel and some thunder in the swing.  Drove an 88mph fastball down out to RCF.  Competed well vs. LHP showing 82 and a curvball in the zone.  Good strike zone awareness.  Good barrel awareness.

Left handed hitter.  Strength in small frame.  Whippy, aggressive bat.  Solid load comes from balanced stance.  Uses short stride.  Shows feel for the barrel and handled LvL opportunities.
