05.23.18
Athletic build at 5 feet 11, 175 pounds. Hits from the right side using a more crouched, balanced setup. Uses a small leg kick for his load, getting his lower half through the ball producing an exit velocity of 82 mph. Looks to stay gap to gap with his barrel working level to slightly uphill at times. Shows loosed hands and the ability to get his barrel to the ball. On the infield he shows soft hands with quick, fluid feet athletically playing through the ball. Accurate arm with the ability to throw from different slots. Arm topped at 81 mph across the diamond. Ran a  5.11 in the 40-yard dash.
On the mound he comes set in a crouched position and throws from a sidearm slot. Does a good job of staying down throughout his delivery. Fastball has run and sink at 70-72 mph. His breaking ball has a sweeping action with gradual break at 66-67 mph. He maintains handspeed on the change-up, touching 66. Has good feel for both fastball and slider and does a good job of throwing them for strikes to his glove side.
01.14.17

Right handed hitter works from a tall base, loading back, using an average leg kick to create better than average batspeed. Flashed some barrel awareness with a vertical bat.  Good approach and gap-to-gap mentality works through some stiffness at the point of contact.  Exit velocity topped at 82mph.  Defensively showed average hands and works through some stiffness in the throwing action.  Long arm action leads to a high-3/4 slot showing some accuracy.  Arm strength tested at 73 across the diamond.  Ran a 30 in 4.31.  On the bump the fastball worked 73-75, flashing feel for the zone.  The breaking ball and change show promise with the breaking ball ranging 66-69 and showing an early, gradual 11/5 arc.  The arm does slow some on the spin pitch.  The change tends to be down in the zone, short of the plate, ranging 69-70 with near fastball hand speed.  A little choppy through the delivery, the front side lands soft and gives as the long arm stroke works to a high-3/4 slot.
