08.05.18
Average frame at 6-foot, 180 pounds.  Really quick arm from a clean, medium arm swing, loading the scapular.  Easy over-the-top release. Fastball up to 90, sitting 87-88. When he works with extension through his line, he commands the fastball in the zone.  At times gets rotational, lacking extension, losing some feel and firmness to the pitch. Hard, tight overhand breaking tunnels from the fastball slot with late downer action at 70-72.  With extension, flashes ability to throw the pitch for a strike and expand down and away when in put-away situation. Change-up at 80 creating discomfort and swing and miss versus left handed hitters.  Controlled over the rubber. Easy transition to the average leg kick. Arm speed should allow pitches to continue to grow with the maturation and strength process in the coming years.

08.01.17
Strong base in the 5-foot-11, 160 pound athlete.  An average leg kick swings to the top with slight coil in the lower half.  Hands stay at the belt until separation.  Fastball sat 86-87, pounding the strike zone with an ability to pitch in.  Fastball has late arm side run when thrown to the arm side.  The breaking ball is tight with sharp 11/5 tilt, that morphed to a hard sweeper with 10/4 action when thrown harder.  The 11/5 breaker sat 68-69.  When thrown 70-72 the pitch gained swing and miss and chase out of hitters.  One change-up was thrown at 81 with some arm side run, showing a feel for the pitch.  Works level and in-line, finishing in an athletic position.
