Maxwell Lukeman: OF/RHP, (2022) Pinkerton Academy, NH. 5-foot-10, 155-pound lean athletic build. Above average in the box, Lukeman recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph. (67.61 mph bat speed average). (24.39 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced wide stance with a small load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was above average, had an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. During his round he produced loud contact and found lots of barrels. Pull side approach. Athletic in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 81 mph; showed a clean exchange, soft hands, and athletic developing feet. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Using a loose, quick arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the bag from a high ¾ slot. Clocked a 60 time of 7.1 at the event. Above average projectable on the mound, showed above average arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle and a loose short arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher who shows some effort. Falling off shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands open with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 81-82 mph; has arm side command and slight running action. (Max spin 2297; Avg 2190). Has fading action and arm side command on his changeup (73-74). His slider (72-73) shows glove side around the zone control and tight action. (Max spin 2234; Avg 2234).

Gap to gap approach. Athletic in the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 85 mph; shows soft hands, consistent feet, and a clean exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a high ¾ slot with a quick arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Above average on the mound, had a consistent arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with above average arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Has an athletic balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Curveball (69-70 mph).Produced a fastball that came in at 82-83 mph; had running action and control around the zone with heavy movement. His changeup (73-74) shows plus action and around the zone control. Showed control around the zone and tight action on his slider .
