Colton Hegwood: Brandon High School, Class of 2021; 5-foot-11, 160-pound athletic frame; 2B/SS. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 88 mph. Begins in wide stance, has a smooth load and uses a toe tap. Exhibits a straight-to-the-ball swing plane and quick bat speed. While in the infield, made throws across the field up to 75 mph; had a quick exchange, quick feet and twitchy hands. Uses athletic movements laterally. Showed a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action with very consistent accuracy to the bag. During the event, he ran the 60-yard dash in 7.07.
