Cade Crosby: Gulfport High School, Class of 2020; 5-foot-11, 180-pound athletic frame; SS/2B. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 89 mph, showing his ability to drive the ball with power. Begins in athletic stance, has a smooth load and uses a toe tap to start his swing. Showed electric bat speed, as well as a short swing plane and good extension on his finish. In the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 86 mph;his exchange was quick and his footwork was quick. While in the infield, showed ability to throw up to 76 mph across the field. Showed a short arm action and an-over-the-top slot. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.17. On the mound, he sat with his fastball at 82-84 mph. He consistenly threw his curveball 63-67 mph with movement.
