1/18/16 - Pitzl is a 5-foot-11 170-pound right-handed hitting second baseman in Missouri’s 2018 class. He has an exit velo of 83 mph and runs a 4.38 home-to-first. At the plate, balanced stance, leg kick, level through zone, producing mostly pull line drives.  On the infield, 75 mph positional velo, over the top release, fluid actions, fields ball in athletic postion, momentum though the catch, clean change and release. On the mound, Easy and simple delivery, over the top release, in line stride, athletic finish, fastball topped at 81 mph, sitting mostly 78-79 mph, of the top RHP fastball velos of the day,  11-to-5 breaking ball at 60-62, some with sharp movement, change-up at 70-71, slight arm side release, near fastball arm speed.

10/31/15 - Pitzl is a 5-foot-10 160-pound right-handed hitting second baseman and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2018 class.  Pitzl run a 7.33 60 and a 4.72 home-to-first.  At the plate, starts in wide stance, minimal smooth load in back leg, body stays under control, level path, pull side line drives, 82 mph exit velo.  On the infield, 72 mph positional velo, over the top release, quick exchange and release, fluid footwork, plays through the ball. Pits has a fastball at 75-78 mph, slight run, over-the-top release, curveball works bottom of zone at 60-63 mph, 12-to-6 action, controllable change up at 68-70 mph, stays inline as he strides, repeats release point, throws with regular effort.
