Hit: Left-Handed. Open, back leg heavy and open stance. High hands with bat rested on the shoulder before pushing them straight back and launching them on an uphill swing with advanced bat speed. Mostly barrels in BP with consistent lift, flashing some big pop.

During hitting evaluations, Racherbaumer starts off with a open stance and finishes slightly closed, rhythm with his hands, aggressive to the baseball, hard contact, high finish with hands. Defensively, Racherbaumer showed his athleticism behind the plate and good actions, quick transfers and arm action, over the top arm slot, moves well side-to-side, pop times between 1.96 and 2.05 seconds at the event, positional velocity of 75 mph, mostly accurate throws.

6/12/18 - Racherbaumer is a strong 5-foot-8 165-pound left-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2021 class.  He ran a 7.82 60 and a 4.90 home to first.  He has an 83 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts with wide base, short stride, minimal load with no wasted movement, level bat path, stays under control, quick bat speed, gap to gap line drives, stays inside the ball.  Behind the plate, 1.90 to 1.97-second pop times, 73 mph positional velocity, wide base, quick glove to hand transfer, short over the top arm slot, aggressive with momentum in footwork, exchange and footwork in sync, repeats movements, mostly accurate throws with carry to the bag.

2/19/18 - Racherbaumer is a 5-foot-8 160-pound left-handed hitting catcher in Missouri’s 2021 class.  He ran a 4.72 home to first and has an 83 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts in an open and crouched stance, controlled in line stride, quiet hands, level path through contact, loose and accelerated hands.  Behind the plate, 2.09 to 2.30-second pop times, 70 mph positional velocity, thin and square set up in base, aggressive thrower with quick arm speed, quick catch and throw, athletic footwork, mostly accurate throws.
